Majboos ( 4 servings )

- Chicken 1kg
- Rice 3 cups
- Potato 1 large
- Onion 1 medium
- Garlic 4, 5 pieces
- Parsley, coriander, dill ¼ cup (finely chopped)
- Black pepper, Red pepper, Turmeric, salt


Finely chop onion and fry it in a pot, peel garlic and add it to pot, add the herbs to the pot and stir well for 2 minutes. Cut chicken into large pieces and add it to the pot. Add ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon of red pepper, ½ teaspoon turmeric and ½ teaspoon salt and then stir for five minutes then add 2-3 cup of hot water and bring it to boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 2 hours. Then take out the chickens from the put and set them aside, pour rice into the pot then bring the water to boil over high heat until water level sinks to just below the rice level. Then cover the pot and cook over very low heat for about 30 minutes.
Now peel the potatos and cut them french fries style and fry them in oil then set them aside, then fry chicken pieces in the pan until golden. When the rice is ready serve like picture.
